KZV Student Population Continues to Grow

Krouzian-Zekarian-Vasbouragan Armenian School students and faculty

SAN FRANCISCO—When the school year began in August of 2013, Krouzian-Zekarian-Vasbouragan Armenian School was happy to announce that its student population was on a continued growth with 118 students. Today, KZV is excited to announce that half way through the 2013-2014 school year, its student numbers have grown to 125. It is also important to note that for the first time since 2000, the school’s preschool has 29 students. Over the course of the past several years, the school has continued to see a positive trend in student enrollment. Through the continued efforts of its administration, school board, faculty, staff, and dedicated supporters, KZV continues to provide the highest caliber of education in a safe and nurturing environment.

For several months, the administration and School Board have been working diligently on a long-term seven year strategic plan to ensure the long term sustainability of the school. That plan will be completed in the coming months and will be presented to the community.

KZV Armenian School, Northern California’s only full time Armenian day school, continues to provide first-rate education and academic excellence while developing a solid grounding in the Armenian language, culture, religion, traditions, and history. It strives to instill universal values and all the necessary academic, social, and emotional skills needed to become successful members of an increasingly global and multicultural environment. The nurturing milieu and the bilingual perspective contribute to optimal cognitive development and success in whatever path the KZV graduates choose to follow.

On this landmark occasion, the school, now more than ever, needs the community’s continued support to prosper and grow. If you are interested in volunteering, please send an email to If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, please visit
