Armenian Schools in California to Aid Their Counterparts in Syria

Syrian Armenian Relief Fund

LOS ANGELES—With the deteriorating situation in Syria, especially in the Aleppo area, Armenian schools there are facing a serious financial crisis.

To help partly alleviate this situation, the Syrian Armenian Relief Fund (SARF) has undertaken the responsibility of organizing fundraising activities within Armenian schools in California. Under the slogan “From My School to Yours,” administration, faculty and parents, along with various student clubs, will plan for activities such as bake sales, car washes, and other similar efforts.

SARF calls upon all Armenians to rally around this noble cause to help our brothers and sister in Syria. The need is immense and this will only be a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps.
