Azeris Block Entrance to Artsakh Booth at Travel Expo

Azeris wearing their national flag block the entrance to Artsakh's and Armenia's booths at the World Travel Market trade show in London

LONDON—Carrying Azerbaijani flags, Azerbaijani embassy representatives, accompanied by local Azeri immigrant residents, blocked the entrance to Artsakh’s pavilion at the World Travel Market trade show in London on Friday, Artsakh’s government press office told ArmInfo.

The Azeri representatives were promptly escorted out of the exhibition hall by security guards.

This is the second such stunt carried out by Azeris at the World Travel Market. Similar incidents have also occurred at other trade shows where Artsakh has been represented.

The Artsakh pavilion presented visitors with food and wine from Artsakh and various books about the country.

The World Travel market trade show opened on Monday, Nov. 3, and concluded Friday.

The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA), along with five Armenian travel agencies, represented Armenia at the trade show this year, sharing a booth with Artsakh.

Azerbaijani diplomats attempted to have Artsakh excluded from the trade show, but were unsuccessful.

An estimated 5,000 international exhibitors representing 186 countries and regions and more than 50,000 global travel professionals took part in the exhibition.

Why are these animals allowed to get away with this? If I was there I would grab one of those flags and throw it on the floor and stomp on it. The flag of a phony nation of pigs.

As long Armenians put up with this nonsense using pathetic passive aggressive tactics then it will keep happening and these goat molesters will become more and more emboldened. Armenians need to be ready at the next exhibit with lead pipes and brass knuckles. As soon as they attempt this again, swift and blinding violence must ensue and these “protesters” must be made an example of.

Look at that poor girl from Artzakh standing there alone against a bunch smiling sniveling smelly angst filled Azeri lakots. That girl should not be left standing alone there against this crowd, she should have had about 3 to 4 dozen of her Armenian brothers standing at the booth next to her brandishing their brass knuckles.

Shame on all of you!!! This sheepish “pen is mightier than a gun” nonsense needs to stop in our communities, time to grow a pair and man up in these situations.

Corrupted dictator Aliyev exporting and bribing and promoting fake “nationalism”, in order to control inside Axeri human rights activists!

Dumb move on their part. Not only did they show everyone that they’re immature and cannot tolerate the mere presence of others, but they also helped direct a ton of traffic to the booth by making such a massive scene.

This is because Azeris don’t think in terms of their best interests. Peace and cooperation have been thrown out the window along with facts and reality. They are too driven by extreme hatred of Armenians to see that everyone else in the world may not appreciate such a grandiose display of intolerance and immaturity. I’m sure in their small minds and in the minds of xenophobic Azerbaijanis around the world, theirs was an act of heroism and patriotism…
