STEPANAKERT (Arka)—Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakian has commissioned the police chief to conduct a detailed investigation into an incident that took place on Saturday in the Republic when a group of people belonging to an Armenian opposition movement were stopped and assaulted by police as they tried to enter Artsakh from Armenia.
The Founding Parliament movement, as it’s called, is staging motorcade rallies, calling for the current Armenian administration to resign by April 24.
On Saturday, the demonstrators headed for Artsakh and were beaten by the police as they tried to cross the border into Artsakh.
The police response drew condemnations from various political and civic groups in Armenia, including the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
Founding Parliament (until recently known as Pre-Parliament) reminds me of the Bolshevik movement’s early beginnings. And similar to the Bolshevik movement one hundred years ago, they are also being led by Anglo-American-Jewish interests, whether they realize it or not. Many of them seem to be well meaning but politically illiterate people, while some amongst them seem clearly to be mercenaries working for anti-Armenian interests.
I don’t condone Armenian-on-Armenian violence. Therefore, I ultimately blame Armenian officials for allowing this mislead group’s utter nonsense to get this far. There are far more effective ways to dealing with such groups.
PS: Jirary’s time in Armenia has long expired. The Armenian government should thank him for his service in Artsakh twenty years ago.
B S !! It shouldn’t have happened the first place. Fire expel all involved from TOP to bottom.
Otherwise forget Artsakh !!!!!!!!!
How about we forget you? The homeland’s security is more important than the silly whims of our Western-led buffoons.
