YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Lincy Foundation has allocated funds to the American Red Cross in order to reconstruct the buildings that are located in Armenia’s earthquake ravaged region.
The American Red Cross stated that the construction program–costing a total of $15 million–will be implemented in three stages. The first stage includes the construction of 14 residential buildings in the town of Giumri and 2 residential buildings in the town of Vanadzor. The second stage includes the construction of 160-180 flats in the town of Spitak. The concluding phase of the program will concentrate on construction in the Lori and Shirak regions.
