YEREVAN (Armenpress)–There are currently 27 California-based companies operating in Armenia. The California International Trade and Investmen’s Office in Armenia–which was established in 2005–is organizing a visit of businesspeople and entrepreneurs from California to Yerevan this summer to attract more business to Armenia.
Head of the Trade Office–Arthur Khachatrian–said that the office has prepared a survey detailing the interest of Californian businesses in Armenian markets.
The survey shows that the Californian companies are interested in Armenia for agriculture–high technology–and energy. The office has also gathered proposals from Armenian companies which will be presented to the Californian companies.
