Lebanese Embassy to Open in Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)-The Lebanese government has announced that it will open an embassy in Armenia.

A charge d’affairs has been appointed to prepare for the Lebanese diplomatic presence in Armenia.

The decision comes just weeks after a delegation of the Armenian bloc of the Lebanese Parliament met with Prime Minister Rafik Al-Hariri to discuss issues of concern to the Lebanese-Armenian community–among them the importance of opening a Lebanese Embassy in Armenia.
