YEREVAN (Armenpress) – An Armenian parliamentary delegation–headed by deputy speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Sahakian–left for Moscow Monday at the invitation of the Russian State Duma speaker Genadi Selezniov. The delegation is composed of chairmen and members of parliament’s permanent committees–representatives of the Hanrapetutiun–Shamiram–Armenian Communist Party and Reform factions.
During the visit–the delegation will meet with Selezniov–deputy speaker of the Duma Sergei Baburin–government officials–members of committees on relations with CIS states and defense.
Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary relations and perspectives for their development will be discussed during the meetings.
