YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s Health Minister Ara Babloyan and his Egyptian counterpart Ismail Sallam signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of health care–medicine and pharmaceutics last week.
The agreement provides for joint activities in training of medical personnel–exchange of expertise in all medical fields–holding joint scientific conferences as well as supplying medicine and medical equipment. Babloyan said that various medicines made in Egypt would be registered in Armenia’soon.
Sallam–for his part–noted that the agreement is the first step in the way to closer friendship and cooperation between Egypt and Armenia in this field.
