Yerkrapah to Provide Arapo Combat Details

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A document written by Albert Bazeryan–the vice-chairman of the Volunteers’ Union Yerkrapah–will detail the activities of the Arapo Battalion–during an upcoming court session of the "Trial of 31."

The document is expected to confirm the preliminary testimonies of the defendants that from 1989 to February 1994 the Arapo group participated in border combat in Karabakh and Armenia. The document also says defendants Manvel Yeghiazarian–Gagik Karapatian–Karen Karapatian–Gnel Hovhanissian–Karapet Ghazarian–Nairi Manoukian–Vagif Avetissian were wounded during that time.

Bazeyan’s document says that for the certificate on rewards and military ran’s the Judicial Board should apply to the Defense Ministry of Armenia.
