Turkish Daily Discusses Possible Opening Armenia Borders

ISTANBUL (Azg)–According to Armenpress–the Turkish Milliet daily published an article Wednesday in which it was reported that Turkey’s borders with Armenia will be opening and the positive effects this action will have on relations between the two countries.

According to a report from Trabizond–progress was made during negotiations between Armenian and Turkish businessmen during a recent session of the Black Sea Economic Collaboration Assembly.

The chairman of the Trabizond Chamber of Commerce–Mazhar Afaja said that the Armenian businessmen’should initiate the opening of the borders.

"Opening the borders would not be a good idea because of the political and economic instability in the Caucasus. If a truce is established between Armenia and Azerbaijan–Trabizond will have a very important mission," Afaja said.
