Turkish Intellectuals Protest Official Anti Armenian Stance

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–According to Istanbul Jamanak (Time) daily–the relations between Refahakanians (Turkish prosperity party) and journalists continue to be strained. Suyltanpeyli refahakanian Mayor Ali Nap Kochak has lately declared a well-known journalist Ugh Tutani’s–who had suggested to Armenia’s to call the Mayor to judicial responsibility–activities to be pro-Armenian.

Another journalist–Hasan Bulur–commenting on this–has stressed–that such attitude abuses Armenia’s living in Turkey.

According to another Turkish Yeni Yeuzerl–Turkish intellectuals have condemned the above mentioned occurrence–that revives racist sentimen’s among the population.

Writer Orhan Bamuk has directed the Prosecutor’s office’s attention to that fact–stressing–that according to the Constitution–the racism is a felony.

In defense of Armenian side has spoken also the deputy Piulent Agartchal.
