Nuclear Plant to Stop Operations

YEREVAN (Azg)–The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant will stop for two months for reloading of nuclear fuel and planned reconstruction operations–starting Monday.

According to the head of State Nuclear Control Department Ashot Martirosian–nuclear fuel will be supplied by Russia in August. He also stressed that security of the plant is satisfactory and meets the international requiremen’s.

Martirosian stressed that round day power supply schedule in the republic will be maintained through acquisition of corresponding volumes of natural gas and heating oil.
