Iranians in Azerbaijan Urged to Join Syndicate

TEHRAN (COMPASS)–Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ali Reza Bigdeli has called on Iranian businessmen to join the syndicate of Iranian traders in Baku to facilitate transactions and reinforce trust with their Azeri counterparts.

Bigdeli told the Islamic Republic News Agency that one of the functions provided by this syndicate is to disseminate relevant information on trade and the market in Azerbaijan.

The Iranian diplomat added that joining the syndicate will reduce the problems facing Iranian businessman in their dealings with Azeris–and the Iranian embassy in Baku is ready to provide them with the essential services and support–according to IRNA.

Bigdeli said that in recent years some Iranian businessmen have indulged in transactions without having enough understanding of Azerbaijan’s trade laws and regulations and have hence suffered substantial financial losses.
