US Funds Computerization of Armenia’s Prosecutor’s Office

YEREVAN (Respublica Armenia)–Attorney General Henrik Khachatrian–representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Robert Robinson–and head of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights Vladimir Karmirshalian yesterday signed an agreement regarding the computerization of the prosecutor’s office.

According to the document–$30,000 will be allocated to the prosecutor’s office–$5,000 of which will be spent for training of employees. A local computer network will be installed–which will be connected to the Internet. The US Embassy in Yerevan earlier allocated $8,000 for the same purpose.
