YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A governmental delegation led by Premier Robert Kocharian–left for Paris Monday on an official visit.
Kocharian is expected to meet with French President Jacques Chirac–as well as members of the French Senate–the Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker.
Kocharian made a speech at the French Parliament Monday–and met with members of the parliamentary group of French-Armenian friendship.
The sides are expected to draft and sign Armenian-French intergovernmental documen’s regarding bilateral economic cooperation.
Kocharian will attend a meeting Wednesday of the World Bank Consulting Group to discuss programs regarding support of the economic reforms in different spheres of Armenia and possible aid on the part of countries-donors.
The Armenian delegation included Minister of Trade and Industry Garnik Naqnaghoulian–First Deputy Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian–Chief Prime Minister Advisor Khosrov Haroutiunian–and others.
Kocharian is also being accompanied by a representative delegation of bank leaders and businessmen.
The Premier and Armenian entrepreneurs will meet leaders of French enterprises at the Council of Entrepreneurs and Chamber for Industry and Commerce of France.
