Baku Dissatisfied With New OSCE Proposals

YEREVAN (Azg)–According to a report of Radio Liberty–Azeri president Gaidar Aliyev expressed his dissatisfaction to the OSCE mediators–who reportedly changed their proposals after negotiations in Yerevan and Stepanakert.

Radio Liberty also reported from Stepanakert that Karabakh leaders are surprised by Aliyev’s dissatisfaction–because according to the report there were no significant changes in the stance of the OSCE co-chairs.

Stepanakert believes that any expectations of significant progress by the end of the year are groundless. A political commentator on Stepanakert Television was even more resolute: "As long as the international community has not changed its attitude toward Karabakh–[any attempts of] resolution of the conflict would lead to a dead end."
