LOS ANGELES–On the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays–Richard and Tina Carolan made a donation of $25,000 to the New Prelacy Building Endowment Fund.
With their generous donations in the past–the Carolans have unequivocally supported the numerous religious–national and educational plans and projects of both the Western Prelacy and the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia.
Most recently–during the first Pontifical visit of His Holiness Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia to the Eastern US and Canada–the Carolans donated $25,000 to the Catholicosate’s 1700th Anniversary Publications Project.
Personally greeting the benefactors–Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian–Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America–expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Prelacy.
"We profoundly appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Carolans’ exemplary spirit of philanthropy. Through such financial contributions–the Carolans wholeheartedly participate in the fulfillment of the Catholicosate and Prelacy missions and fortify us in our life of dedication," stated Bishop Mardirossian.
Joining the Prelate in thanking the Carolans are the Prelacy Religious and Executive Councils.
Last week–the Carolans presented former California State Assembly Majority Leader Walter Karabian with the ANCA-WR "Man of the Year" award.
