Harmless Bomb Found in Embassy Car in Russia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Russian Federal Security Service revealed and rendered harmless a bomb installed in a car bearing the license plate of the Armenian Embassy in Russia Tuesday –Press Secretary of the Armenian Embassy Gevorg Hovhanissian reported.

The Russian ORT TV specified that the car belonged to Avanesov–an employee of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.

Russian law enforcement agencies have begun an investigation.

According to unverified sources–the car of Avan District Leader Rubik Hayrapetian was fired at on Monday.

The incident took place when he was headed to work. Hayrapetian did not refute the given information–however did not provide any further information.
