ARF Supreme Assembly Concludes

YEREVAN–The Supreme Assembly of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Armenia concluded Monday–following a 20-day session.

The assembly–the third of its kind in Armenia–issued an announcement stating the decisions made on the political activities of the ARF in Armenia. The announcement also added that the internal situation of the ARF in Armenia was the topic of lengthy discussion and criticism.

In conclusion–the meeting elected a nine member Executive Council. Returning from the outgoing council were Vahan Hovanessian–Artashes Shahbazian and Gegham Manoukian. The newly elected members of the Council were Gagik Gevorkian–Hrant Tatevosian–Davit Lokian–Edward Ghazarian–Armen Roustoumian and Hrant Markarian.

Details of the Supreme Assembly are scheduled to be addressed during a forthcoming press conference.
