Armenia to Participate in Industrial Exhibition

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–An agreement has been reached with a number of Armenian enterprises regarding their participation in an international exhibition in Baghdad to be held in early November–Araik Sargssian–a representative of the "Heritage" International Foundation to Armenia–told Noyan Tapan.

It was agreed with the government of Iraq that the sponsor of the exhibition for CIS countries will be the "Heritage" International Foundation which has missions in many countries of the CIS. Enterprises of Kazakhstan–Russia–Ukraine and Belarus have already agreed to attend the exhibition. Sargssian stressed that there are vast possibilities for Armenian enterprises of various profiles to attend the exhibition.

Armenia for the first time attended the Baghdad exhibition in 1997. This exhibition has been held annually since 1974. Last year it presented products of the lighting industry and enterprises of the military and industrial complex.

About 80 countries are expected to attend this international exhibition–among which are Russia–France–Germany–Japan–Italy–Turkey–Arab and Latin American countries–and others.
