Prelacy Announces Earthquake Anniversary Ceremonies

The Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Western US announced that all its affiliated churches would hold a special requiem Mass Sunday in memory of the victims of the Armenian earthquake.

The Prelacy also announced that all churches will be open to the public of Monday–Dec. 7 to allow parishioners to pray at their leisure and to visit the church on the 10th anniversary of the Armenian Earthquake.

Furthermore–a special Mass–vigil and memorial ceremonies are scheduled for Monday evening at St. Garabed Armenian Church in Hollywood–officiated by Western Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian with the participation of the all clergy. A special concert will be staged by the St. Garabed Choir under the direction of Prof. Ara Manash. A solemn requiem Mass will follow the ceremonies.

The Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church calls on all community members to take part in the aforementioned gatherings and pay their respects to the innocent victims of the earthquake.
