Archpriest Yaralian Passes Away

LOS ANGELES–His Grace Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian–the Prelacy religious and executive councils and clerics Friday announced the death of Archpriest Kourken Yaralian–which occurred Thursday in Fresno–following a long illness.

Archpriest Yaralian had served the Armenian church 42 years–bringing his services to the St. Mary’s Church in Lebanon–the Sts. Vartanantz Church in New Jersey and the Holy Trinity Church in Fresno.

Funeral Mass and services for Yaralian are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Trinity Church in Fresno–officiated by Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian. Burial will take place at Massis Ararat Cemetery in Fresno.

He is survived by his wife–Yeretsgin Anoush Yaralian–his children and relatives.
