Droshak Begins Publication in Armenia

YEREVAN–On February 25–the official publication and organ of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau was published in Yerevan–officially moving its headquarters from Athens to Armenia–for the first time in the 109-year history of the publication.

Droshak will be published in Armenia as a registered publication and will continue its circulation throughout the world–while expanding its readership in Armenia. The bi-monthly will be sold for 300 drams.

This new addition to the growing press in Armenia–will not change its look or its volume. Its offices are located at 31 Kovkasian #37.

On the afternoon of Feb. 25–a gathering was held at the ARF Bureau headquarters in Yerevan to mark this momentous occasion. Present at the gathering were representatives of the ARF Bureau–the ARF Executive Council of Armenia–as well as members of the editorial boards of the Yerkir–Hayots Ashkhar and the Yerevan News Agency and the Droshak editors and staff.

The attendees welcomed and congratulated the ARF’s decision to move Droshak to Armenia as a manifestation of the strengthening of its organizational roots in Armenia–and expressed hope that the publication would become the flag-bearer for the national–political and ideological values–principles and positions of the ARF.
