Prelate Leaves for Vatican to Take Part in 1700 Anniversary Exhibition

Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian left for the Vatican Monday to join a delegation appointed by Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia Aram I and participate in the opening ceremonies of an exhibition on the 1700 anniversary of the adoption of Christianity in Armenia.

On the occasion of the 1700 anniversary–the Cahtolicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia will participate on March 24 in the exhibition dedicated to Armenia-Rome relations–with the attendance of Armenian President Robert Kocharian–Catholicos of All Armenia’s Karekin I–Pope John Paul II–and Armenian Patriarchs of Jerusalem and Istanbul.

Mardirossian will return on Saturday–March 27.
