International Youth Festival to Be Held in Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– An international youth festival will be held in Armenia May 11-15. The festival is initiated by "Armavir" University and the Armenian Physical Training Institute.

Director of "Armavir" University–Mushegh Asoyan said that the Armenian portion of the festival will be titled "Entering the Third Millenium with Dignity." The festival will be dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity in Armenia. According to Asoyan–the festival will be sponsored by the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and "Pumps" joint-stock company.

The festival will be telecast in several countries.
