Bazeyan Sets Priorities for Yerevan

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–During Monday’s meeting at Yerevan city hall–the newly appointed mayor of Yerevan–Albert Bazeyan–declared state and national interests and a war against corruption to be the first and foremost priorities for the city administration.

Bazeyan vowed to be consistent in the fight against individuals who abuse the law.

All municipal executives were requested to pay daily attention to the families of those killed and wounded in action–as well as to families of active soldiers. The mayor described the task of guarding the constitutional rights and liberties of citizens as the basic principle of his job.
