Hakobian to Play Khalifman in Chess Final

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Hakobian will play Khalifman of Russia in the finals of the world chess championship being held in Las Vegas. Khalifman beat Nasipyanu of Romania in a dramatic quick-chess development to advance to the final.

August 20 is a day of rest for the chessplayers. The finalists will play their first match on August 22
