Kocharian to Attend Top Level International Conference in Yalta

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian President Robert Kocharian will attend the international conference "Baltic-Black Sea Cooperation: Towards an Integrated XXI Century Europe Without Dividing Lines" to be held in Yalta–Ukraine–on September 10-11. Only delegations led by top officials will be represented at the conference organized upon the initiative of President Leonid Kuchma of Ukraine. Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Alexander Bozhko said the presidents of Armenia and Ukraine are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the conference.

The main goal of the conference is to discuss political–economic and humanitarian cooperation in the Baltic and Black Sea region–to share experiences in conducting political and economic reforms–and to outline further cooperation in the context of regional stability and security in next century’s Europe.
