Hakobian Khalifman Tie Their Second Game

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Hakobian of Armenia and Khalifman of Russia tied their second game of the final series at the world chess championship in Las Vegas.

Later Khalifman confessed that he was too tired of the marathon to seek a victory in the game. Hakobian–however–stated his intentions to take a decisive line in the next game and eventually achieve an overall success. Khalifman leads the series 1.5 points to 0.5.
