Pilgrims From Iran in Armenia

ETCHMIADZIN (Noyan Tapan)–Another group of Armenian pilgrims from Iran visiting Armenia delivered about 200 volumes of theological literature to be distributed among local secondary schools–the group’s leader Nvard Madatian representing the Union of Armenian Women of Tehran’said. Madatian held a meeting with Locum Tenens Archbishop Nerses Pozapalian in Etchmiadzin–on September 16.

His Holiness presented the 1700-year history of St. Etchmiadzin to the guests–blessed the pilgrims and hailed the initiative of the Union–church officials said.

It was the third group of Armenian pilgrims from Iran to visit Armenia upon the Union’s initiative.
