Khachatrian expressed optimism that the ambassador’s activities in Armenia will be fruitful and will promote Armenian-Egyptian relations in different spheres. Khachatrian pointed out the importance of cooperation in such spheres as trade–economy–education and culture–and emphasized the need for developing interparliamentary relations. He called for a study on the demand for Armenian goods in Egypt–which could be another opportunity for Armenia to get into the international market. Armenia’s geopolitical location will enable Egypt to establish communication with the countries surrounding Armenia.
Ambassador al Ammari pointed out that he is glad to work in a friendly country and will contribute to the development of bilateral relations. Considering economic cooperation to be very important–the ambassador expressed the opinion that the opening of an air flight between the two countries will promote this cooperation.
