Prosecutor’s Office Considering Siradeghian Victims’ Petition

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia is currently considering the petitions presented by the relatives of some victims for a change of the preventive punishment imposed on ANM Board Chairman–Parliament member Vano Siradeghian.

At one of the latest court hearings of the "Vano Siradeghian" case–the victims presented the afore-mentioned petitions. The court re-addressed the petition to the Prosecutor’s Office. It is pointed out in the court decision that if the Prosecutor General presents a petition for a change of the preventive punishment to the Parliament–and if the Parliament makes a relevant decision–the petition will be considered by the court.
