YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The government of Germany will cover part of the expenses on Armenia’s participation in "EXPO-2000" exhibition scheduled in Germany on June 3. Contact person for organization of the exhibition Irina Mkrtchian told Noyan Tapan that 400,000 DM allocated by the German government will be used to rent almost 300 square miles for Armenia’s pavilion–where a model of the Noah’s Ark will be built.
According to Mkrcthian–under the agreement between the Armenian and German governmen’s–expenses on decoration of individual pavilions at "EXPO-2000" will be covered by exhibition participants and the government of Armenia. The Armenian government will be responsible for selection of exhibition participants.
