Turkmen’stan’s Embassy Begins Work in Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Turkmen’stan’s Ambassador to Armenia Toily Kurbanov presented the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian on February 8.

The Ambassador said it was a great honor for him to be the first representative of Turkmen’stan to Armenia. He pledged to spare no effort to develop Armenian-Turkmen relations.

Stressing the importance of Armenian-Turkmen relations–Oskanian hailed Turkmen’stan’s decision to open an embassy in Armenia. He vowed every assistance to this undertaking on behalf of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
