YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Members of the Armenia-Poland friendship group of the Armenian National Assembly held a meeting June 2 with Deputy Director for Caucasian Countries–Department for East Europe–Foreign Ministry of Poland–Irina Tatarzinska.
The meeting participants exchanged views on expanding the Armenian-Polish relations. Both sides expressed satisfaction that the most favorable conditions were created for the development of bilateral relations–and the two countries’ parliamentary delegations are cooperating within international organizations.
Tatarzinska assured the Armenian parliamentarians that one of the priority tasks of the Poland-Armenia friendship group formed at the Polish Parliament is promoting Armenia’s integration into the European structures.
She pointed out that the Polish government intends to open an embassy in Yerevan in the near future. According to her–the embassy’s activities will be an incentive to the development of bilateral relations.
