Thousand March in Paris for Armenian Genocide Recognition

PARIS (Combined Sources)–10,000 people marched in Paris Sunday to urge the French government to recognize the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

Activists called the march after the French Senate–the upper parliamentary chamber–rejected a proposed law recognizing the Genocide.Turkey continues its denial campaign in a number of international arenas.
