Slavonic School Is Friendship Bridge Between Russia Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–September 1st ushered in a new school year at the Yerevan Slavonic School. Congratulating the pupils of the school on this occasion–Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Anatoly Driukov said that "the very fact of existence of a Slavonic school in Armenia is praiseworthy". According to the ambassador–apart from being an educational establishment–the school is also viewed as a kind of bridge of friendship between the Russian and Armenian peoples." Driukov emphasized that the school can take pride both in its alumni and the good traditions formed over recent years.
