YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Parliamentary Standing Committee for State and Legal Affairs will not discuss the issue of possible connection between the Meghri variant and the October 27 terrorist act at its November 3 meeting.
Noyan Tapan Committee Chairman Victor Dallakian said that the issue was removed from the agenda at the request of the victims’ relatives–but he did not clarify the reason for their request.
The proposal on considering the issue of possible connection between the Meghri variant and October 27 terrorist act was made by the victims’ relatives on October 26. Statemen’s were addressed to Parliament Speaker Armen Khachatrian and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for State and Legal Affairs Victor Dallakian.
