A Two Day Diplomatic Conference Starts in Yerevan

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–A two-day conference of head Armenian ambassadors–consulates abroad and representatives in international organizations led by Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian at the foreign affairs ministry of Armenia’started on November 17.

According to the foreign ministry public relations department–Oskanian talked about the main direction of the foreign policy–the importance of creating a security system and stable grounds for the regulation of political and economic problems in the region–peaceful regulation of the Karabakh conflict–efforts directed to strengthening of human rights and freedom in the region–and Armenia’s cooperation with its immediate neighbors and relations with world powerful centers.

The participants of the assembly discussed the latest development in the Karabakh conflict–after which the Armenian ambassadors and consuls presented the problems existing in their regions.
