Law On Karabakh Parliament Passed

STEPANAKERT (Armenpress)–On December 1–the Karabakh Parliament proceeded with discussions on the Draft Law of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) National Assembly–which had been started the day before. The ARF’s proposals on expanding the Parliament’s supervisory functions and the formation of a Supervising Chamber–were the debated issues. Also discussed were the possibility of regulating the interrelations of the executive and legislative–the mechanisms of passing a vote of no confidence in the government and dissolution of Parliament. The Draft Law "On the NKR National Assembly" was–nevertheless–passed in the second reading.
