Turkish Businessmen Seek Cooperation With Armenia

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Turkish Milliyet Daily Newspaper reported that a group of Turkish businessmen have asked the country’s leadership to lift a precondition hindering the development of Turkish-Armenian relations. The Turkish government links the establishment of diplomatic relations with Armenia and launching economic cooperation to the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied territories in Karabakh. The Turkish businessmen also addressed the OSCE Minsk co-chairmen requesting their assistance in settling the Karabakh conflict.

The OSCE Minsk co-chairmen announced in Baku that some work is being conducted to regulate Armenian-Turkish relations independently from Karabakh issue.
