Lincy Foundation’s Reconstruction Projects to be Realized in Gyumri

GYUMRI (Noyan Tapan)–Minister of Urban Development David Lokian–during a regular visit to Gyumri–announced that reconstruction projects in the Earthquake Disaster Zone–being made possible by the Lincy Foundation–will begin July 10.

The project foresees the reconstruction of 16 damaged buildings–which will provide 926 living spaces. Another building–which would have 60 living spaces–might also be added to the reconstruction effort.

It should be noted that the buildings to be reconstructed are located next to buildings renovated during the last project. A developed infrastructure of schools–kindergartens and relaxing areas–will be included in project. Similar housing settlemen’s have been built on Tbilisian–Kamoye–Koshtoyan–and Shirakatsou streets.

Special attention will also be paid to landscaping the complexes and the areas which provided temporary homes to the residents of Gyumri.
