Ardashesian Artifact Found On Saroukhian Village Border

KAVAR (Armenpress)–An Armenian-Italian expedition that is excavating in the Gegharkoonik province Saroukhian village–has reported that they have found a landmark from the Ardashesian period insribed in Aramaic.

According to the expedition heads Archeologists Simon Hmayagian and Raphael Pichion–the inscription reads: "I am Ardashes’ son–Zareh–I place this landmark."
