Patriarchs of Jerusalem and Constantinople Arrive in Etchmiadzin

ETCHMIADZIN (Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople Abp. Mesrop Mutafyan and the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem Abp. Torgom Manoogian will arrive in Holy Etchmiadzin Friday at the invitation of His Holiness Karekin II–the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenia’s. The archbishops will discuss issues related to the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity as Armenia’s state religion as well as the current life of the Armenian Church.

The patriarchs will stay in Holy Etchmiadzin until August
