YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The Armenian church in the center of Baku–which has been in poor condition for 10 years–and where the young people of Baku gamble–is likely to become a museum to display "the violence and atrocities of Armenia’s" towards Azeris.
According to a Baku-based daily 525 Gazet–the head of a non-governmental organization Azerbaijan’s Intellectual Development–Adile Shamilov has asked president Heydar Aliyev–parliament speaker–Baku mayor–head of the Azerbaijan’s Academy of Science and the leader of Muslims of the Caucasus Haji Allahshukyur Pashazadeh–for permission to turn the Armenian church into a museum.
Shamilov suggested that photos–documen’s and books–showing the "atrocities of Armenia’s against the Azerbaijani and Turkish people," should be displayed in the museum. According to him–this building can become a center for studies–which will play an important role in the patriotic education of future generations and will attract lots of tourists.
