Syria Sends Assistance to Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The third and the last lot of wheat from Syria arrived in Armenia October 3.

In the autumn of 2000–Armenia asked a number of countries to help it eliminate the aftermath of the unprecedented drought. Syria was one of the firsts to respond. It sent 10,000 tons of wheat and 500 tons of potato seedlings to Armenia.
