Armenian Film Wins Two Prizes At Kinoshock Festival

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Tigran Khzmalyan’s feature film "Pierrelequin–or Lighter than Air"–shot at the Yerevan cinema studio–won two prizes at the 10th Kinoshock film festival of the CIS countries and the Baltic States–held in Anapa–Russia–on September 6-7. The film itself won a special prize of the CIS–and the leading actor Vladimir Msryan won the prize for the best male performance. Twenty-five feature films and documentaries were presented at the festival.

According to the director of the Yerevan cinema studio–film director–script writer and producer of the film Tigran Khzmalyan–Armenian movies are gaining recognition abroad.
