YEREVAN (Armenpress)–President Robert Kocharian welcomed the chairman of Central Electoral commission of Russia Alexander Vishniakov on Thursday–who arrived in Yerevan by the invitation of Central Electoral commission of Armenia. During his visit an agreement will be signed on cooperation between the Central Electoral commissions of the two countries.
As it was reported from the president’s press office–Alexander Vishniakov presented principles and activity of Russian Central Electoral commission. He also said that the Russia’s are ready to exchange lessons for past experiences with their Armenian colleagues.
They stressed the importance of the law about parties in the process of election system’s development. Robert Kocharian said that it is very important that the society trusts the political forces of the country.
