Ghoukassian Meets With Russian Armenian Businessmen

STEPANAKERT (Noyan Tapan)–The attraction of private foreign capital in Karabakh is a necessary tool to improve Karabakh’s economy and the appropriate legislation and a favorable investment climate have been established for this purpose–according to Karabakh President Arkady Ghukassian. Ghoukassian made this comment while welcoming the President of the Union of the Armenia’s of Russia (UAR) All-Russian public organization Ara Abrahamyan–UAR Vice-President Seyran Baghdasaryan and famous Russian political analyst Andranik Mihranyan to Karabakh on Monday.

According to the Karabakh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs–Ghukassian reflected on the belief and confidence that the people of Nagorno Karabakh have toward the Armenian community in Russia–stating that they believe that the Russian Armenia’s have the potential to contribute to the development and strengthening of the comprehensive ties between the communities of Nagorno Karabakh and Russia.

Ara Abrahamyan updated Ghoukassian on the activities of his organization in Russia and Armenia. The participants of the conversation agreed on the necessity for closer cooperation and use of the potential of the Union of the Armenia’s of Russia in the development of the economic complex of Nagorno Karabakh.

Also attending the meeting were Karabakh Prime Minister Anushavan Danielyan–Minister of Foreign Affairs Naira Melkumyan–Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Isagulov and also the famous writer-publicist Zory Balayan.
